When you place an order we collect only what we need to cook it and get it to you: your first name, phone number, delivery address (for delivery orders), table number (for dine-in orders), and the items you ordered with any notes you add. Card payment details are entered on our acquiring bank's secure page — we never see or store your card number, CVV or PIN.

We use your data only to (a) prepare and deliver your order, (b) confirm your phone number by SMS to deter abuse, (c) process the payment through our acquiring bank, and (d) keep an accounting and tax record of the transaction as required by Georgian law. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell it to anyone.

We share the minimum necessary data with the providers we rely on to make the order happen: our point-of-sale system (Poster), our SMS verification provider, our card acquiring bank, and — for delivery orders — the courier handling the run. Each of these handles the data only to perform their part of the service.

Order records are kept for as long as Georgian accounting and tax law requires us to keep them. Phone verification codes are short-lived and expire automatically. You can ask us to delete data we are not legally required to keep at any time by writing to the address above.

Under Georgian data protection law you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. To exercise any of these rights, write to meatandsmoke.batumi@gmail.com.
